Shipping Policy

1. Overview

Thank you for choosing us as your water park equipment supplier. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms, procedures, and responsibilities regarding the transportation of our large-scale water amusement equipment to our B2B clients worldwide.

Given the oversized, heavy, and high-value nature of our products—including water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, splash pads, and other aquatic play structures—all shipments require specialized logistics planning and coordination. This policy is designed to ensure transparency and a smooth delivery experience for our international partners.

All shipments are governed by the Incoterms® 2020 rules as published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The applicable trade term will be specified in each sales contract and Proforma Invoice.

2. Production & Order Processing Time

Since our water park equipment is manufactured to order based on each client’s project specifications and site requirements, please note the following timelines:

  • Custom-Made Equipment: Production lead time typically ranges from 4 to 10 weeks, depending on the complexity, scale, and customization level of the equipment.

  • Standard/In-Stock Components: Spare parts and standard accessories are generally dispatched within 3–7 business days after order confirmation.

  • Order Confirmation: Production and logistics arrangements commence only after the initial payment (deposit) is confirmed and all technical specifications are finalized.

The specific production timeline will be confirmed in your Proforma Invoice and sales contract. Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

3. Shipping Methods

3.1 Primary Method: Sea Freight

Due to the large dimensions and heavy weight of our water park equipment, sea freight is our primary shipping method. Sea freight offers the optimal balance of cost-effectiveness, capacity, and safety for oversized amusement structures.

We offer two container shipping options based on order volume:

Option Description Best For
FCL (Full Container Load) Exclusive use of one or more containers Large-scale projects, full park installations
LCL (Less than Container Load) Shared container space Smaller orders, spare parts, accessory shipments

Container types may include standard dry containers, open-top containers, or flat-rack containers depending on equipment dimensions.

3.2 Alternative: Air Freight

For urgent spare parts, small components, or tooling, air freight may be arranged. Estimated transit time is typically 7–15 days via international express carriers.

3.3 Door-to-Door & Inland Trucking

For clients requiring delivery beyond the destination port, we can arrange inland trucking to your project site. Additional fees for door-to-door or inland transportation will be quoted separately.

4. Packaging & Securing

Proper packaging is critical to protect your investment during long-distance ocean transit, which may expose equipment to humidity, salt air, temperature changes, and rough handling.

Our packaging standards include:

  • Large Equipment: Packed in reinforced wooden crates with foam, sponge padding, and corrosion protection.

  • Steel Frames & Structures: Protected with VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) film or corrosion-preventive materials. Edge protectors are applied to prevent abrasion.

  • Small Components: Packed in labeled cartons with clear identification.

  • Modular Packaging: Large playground equipment utilizes modular packaging to optimize container space and simplify on-site installation.

  • Moisture Protection: All shipments include moisture-proof covers and protective materials.

  • ISPM 15 Compliance: All wooden packaging materials comply with ISPM 15 standards (heat-treated and stamped) as required by most importing countries.

All packages undergo additional reinforcement before shipment to ensure they withstand the rigors of international transport.

5. Shipping Costs & Quotations

Shipping costs are not included in the base product price unless explicitly stated.

  • Cost Calculation: Freight charges are calculated based on destination, equipment weight, volume (CBM), and container type.

  • Quotation: A detailed shipping cost breakdown will be provided during the quotation stage before order confirmation to ensure full transparency.

  • Payment: Shipping charges may be paid directly to the carrier or added to your final invoice, as agreed upon during the sale.

6. Customs Clearance & Documentation

6.1 Export Clearance (Seller’s Responsibility)

Our logistics team handles all export customs declaration procedures, including:

  • Preparation of required documentation

  • Payment of export taxes and fees

6.2 Import Clearance (Buyer’s Responsibility)

Unless otherwise agreed under CIF, DDP, or other applicable Incoterms, the customer (importer) is responsible for:

  • All import duties, tariffs, and taxes at the destination country

  • Local customs clearance procedures

  • Compliance with destination country import regulations

We provide all necessary export documents to facilitate smooth import clearance:

Document Description
Commercial Invoice Detailed product value and description
Packing List Itemized list of all packages and contents
Bill of Lading (B/L) Title document for sea freight
Certificate of Origin For tariff preference eligibility
HS Code Documentation Standard classification (e.g., HS Code 9508.21.00 / 9508.29.00 for amusement equipment)
Safety/Compliance Certificates EN1176, ASTM, or other applicable standards

Note: Please consult your local customs office for detailed import regulations specific to amusement equipment in your country.

7. Insurance

To protect your valuable investment, we highly recommend purchasing marine cargo insurance for all shipments.

  • We can assist in arranging insurance coverage, with premiums calculated based on equipment value and shipping route.

  • In the event of damage or loss during transit, we will support you in filing insurance claims.

  • Insurance coverage typically follows Institute Cargo Clauses (ICC) standards, with “All Risks” coverage recommended for high-value equipment.

The specific insurance arrangement will be confirmed based on the agreed Incoterms. For example, under CIF terms, the seller is responsible for arranging insurance.

8. Risk Transfer & Delivery

8.1 Risk Transfer Point

The transfer of risk from seller to buyer is determined by the agreed Incoterms® 2020 rule:

Incoterm Risk Transfer Point
EXW (Ex Works) When goods are made available at our factory
FOB (Free On Board) When goods are loaded on board the vessel at the port of loading
CFR (Cost and Freight) When goods are loaded on board the vessel
CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) When goods are loaded on board the vessel
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) When goods are delivered to the named place of destination

We primarily support FOB, CIF, CFR, EXW, and DDP terms. Please confirm the specific shipping terms with your account manager before finalizing the order.

8.2 Estimated Transit Times

Transit time to major destination ports is typically:

Destination Estimated Transit Time
Southeast Asia / Middle East 15–30 days
Europe / North America 30–45 days
Other Regions 40–50 days

Note: Actual transit times may vary depending on vessel availability, port congestion, weather conditions, and customs clearance speed.

9. Receiving & Inspection

9.1 Inspection Upon Arrival

IMPORTANT: Please inspect the packaging and equipment thoroughly upon arrival at the port or your facility.

  • If the equipment or packaging appears damaged during transit, please take high-quality photos and videos immediately and contact us within 48 hours.

  • For any quality-related issues, please report within 7 days of receiving the goods and provide clear photos or videos with detailed descriptions.

9.2 Unloading & Site Preparation

Due to the oversized nature of our equipment:

  • The customer is responsible for arranging specialized unloading equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.) at the delivery site.

  • Please ensure your site is accessible by large heavy-duty trailers and containers.

  • Sufficient labor and equipment must be available to assist with unloading.

10. Shipment Tracking

Once your shipment leaves our factory, we will provide you with:

  • Bill of Lading (B/L) Number and vessel name

  • Vessel tracking details and carrier information

  • Real-time shipment status updates through our logistics team

You can track the real-time status of the vessel through the carrier’s official website or by contacting our logistics department. Our logistics team monitors each shipment and provides timely updates.

11. Special Circumstances

11.1 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Port closures or congestion

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Shipping embargoes

  • Government actions or export controls

  • Labor disputes or strikes

  • Natural disasters

11.2 Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled once production begins. Cancellations before production may incur deductions for design work, materials, or labor already utilized.

11.3 Returns

Due to the customized and oversized nature of our water park equipment, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for non-quality-related reasons.
