I. Project Overview

Located in Macau, this project is an exclusive high-end water play area designed for the Galaxy Macau Hotel. The site covers approximately 650 square meters and caters to children aged 0-9 and families of all ages. Most  water park play equipment is constructed using a unified FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) integrated process.

This project aligns with the Galaxy Macau Hotel’s high-end resort positioning, focusing on themed IP, all-age suitability, safety, and convenience. Considering the developmental characteristics of children aged 0-9, the site is divided into four independent yet interconnected play areas, integrating themed water houses, various slides, interactive water features, and a landscaped dry fountain plaza. Every piece of water park play equipment has been carefully selected and customized to match the hotel’s premium aesthetic. Simultaneously, the site’s drainage, safety, and access systems have been optimized, balancing aesthetic appeal, playability, and the high-end service standards of a star-rated hotel to create a one-stop high-end family-friendly water play area.

 

III. Functional Zoning

The overall venue is meticulously divided into zones based on children’s age, motor skills, and play risk, ensuring smooth flow and minimal interference between groups:

 

1. 0-2 Years Old Shallow Water Play Area: Specifically designed for infants and toddlers, this shallow water play area features low, gentle water features such as ball pits, curved water features, small water curtains, and low-pressure interactive water guns. The gentle water flow and the absence of sharp edges allow for close parental supervision, satisfying toddlers’ initial water exploration needs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. 2-5 Years Old IP-Themed Water House Core Area: The core play area of the park, centered around the customized IP Tao Tao Water House, complemented by waterfall play, funnel play, curved ball play, and multi-layered interactive water features with tall water curtains. 3. 5-9 Year Old Fun Slide Challenge Area: Catering to the needs of older children for more exciting play, a complete set of slides with a standard height of 1.5 meters is designed, including an enclosed curved slide, a double-lane rainbow racing slide, a family-friendly wide slide, and an open straight slide. The FRP one-piece molded slides feature a safety-blended slope design, balancing adventurous fun with play safety, satisfying the racing and climbing needs of older children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. All-Age Shared Fountain Plaza: The open-air gathering and dispersing landscape area at the park entrance features an IP Tao Tao sculpture and a fountain plaza, catering to adults, seniors, and children of all ages.
